Bug#283619: Should be retitled to request build against kernel-source-2.6.8 -11?
Hi,
Bug # 283619 (severity "grave" and tagged "security") requests a rebuild
of powerpc 2.6.8 kernel images against kernel-source 2.6.8-9. But the
changelog for the latest version of kernel-image-2.6.8-powerpc, version
2.6.8-7, says it was rebuilt against kernel-source 2.6.8-10. Shouldn't
this bug therefore be closed or tagged "sarge" so the new kernel image
will enter testing?
On a second look, kernel-source-2.6.8 version 2.6.8-11 also contains a
number of security fixes, so maybe # 283619 should instead be retitled
to request a rebuild against that version of kernel-source-2.6.8.
