Package: kernel-image-2.4.27-1-sparc32
Version: d-i sid daily 2004-10-23
Severity: grave
Tags: d-i
Justification: renders package unusable

Attempting an install from a sid daily d-i disk 2004-10-23 on
a sparcstation LX, the cdrom cannot be mounted. Using the
busybox shell gives a kermel NULL pointer dereference error
the first time, and hangs the second time:

BusyBox v1.00-pre10 (Debian 20040623-1) Built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

~ # mount -r /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /cdrom
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference

tsk->{mm,active_mm}->pgd = fc010400
Killed
~ # mount -r /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /cdrom
