Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686
Version: 2.6.8-4

I have an IBM T23 laptop with 384 MB ram the kernel 2.6.8-1-686 with
Debian SID only recognizes 256 mb

after added mem="384M" to grub the sistem hangs

With kernel 2.4.26 or fedora core 2 the system recognizes 384mb RAM
