Bug#268352: radeonfb bug: Happens on other Radeon hardware, too

Hello,

I'm experiencing the same symptoms (modprobing radeonfb leads to black and
text-mode screen). This happens on:

0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility
Radeon 9600 M10] (prog-if 00 [VGA])
Subsystem: Asustek Computer, Inc.: Unknown device 1772

with the 2.6.9 debian kernels on people.debian.org
and also on:

0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R200 QL
[Radeon 8500 LE] (prog-if 00 [VGA])

on another machine with a stock kernel-image-2.6.8-1-k7. The first is a
Centrino notebook, the other one an AMD Duron 800 Mhz. dmesg output is
similar to frankie's output.

If you need any further info, like radeonfb output with debug info compiled
in, please notify me.
