Unfortunately, I don't know of anything else that changed, except
possibly, other packages that came when I did my daily upgrade of sarge.

On the same day that this new kernel came (and after rebooting) is when
it happened.

Interestingly, on other machines (different hardware) when this upgrade
happened and the same kernel package was upgraded, they do not have this
error, so I had assumed it was something specific with my motherboard.

Do you know where I can get version 2.6.8-3 for comparison?
