Bug#275991: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-386: upgrade 2.6.8-3 -> 2.6.8-4 broke 800x600 vesa mode on neofb
Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-386
Version: 2.6.8-4
Severity: important
I have this card in my laptop:
0000:00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Neomagic Corporation NM2093 [MagicGraph 128ZV] (rev 04)
I used vga=0x313 as a parameter to my kernel, and it set my video card
to 800x600 mode. After this upgrade, the screen blanks shortly after the
kernel starts booting. If I remove that parameter it boots OK, but only
in 640x480 mode. 0x303 and others have the same effect.
