Bug#275938: kernel-image-2.4.27-1-686: Terrible realtime performance
Package: kernel-image-2.4.27-1-686
Version: 2.4.27-2
Severity: normal
I've observed that upgrading from debian's 2.4.26 packages to 2.4.27
consistently causes realtime tasks (such as xmms decoding) to suffer
very badly.
(This is on a Thinkpad X20 with a 500MHz Celeron, not using realtime
priority, xmms and esd niced at -10)
