My Revoltec CD burner breaks from 2.6.7 -> 2.6.9.  This is an external
CD/DVD burner labeled "Mad Dog Multimedia Dominator USB 2.0
www.mdmm.com".  In 2.6.7, cdrecord can burn to it and scanbus returns
"MAD DOG " "MD-16XDVD9" "2.F6" Removable CD-ROM.  In 2.6.9, cdrecord
sees the USB/IDE bridge only.  There seems to be a relevant link at:
