Bug#286733: initrd-tools: sg.ko required by SATA machine

The sg driver was used to access scsi scanners, scsi cd
writers, etc. I don't have any experience with your hardware,
but using sg to access your root disk is pretty unusual.

Have you tried the sata_sil driver?
