Hello,
Having same troubles, I found your bug report... and it mades me
realized I forgot to reboot the computer affected with this problem
after upgrade (damn!).
It really looks like you did the same mistake, especially when seing
"Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-386" in your "System Information".

(Remove the invalid string from my address if you intend to reply to
me. The Debian BTS is the source of 50% of the spam I receive. And
people at debian-devel estimated that nothing should be done about
that problem. So I'm forced to use this kind of dumb means to reduce
the CPU usage on my mail server)
