Bug#283329: PCNET32 driver doesn't work on IBM RS/6000 7043-140

Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-powerpc
Version: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/unstable/main/installer-powerpc/current/images/powerpc/netboot/vmlinux-prep.initrd of 2004-11-18

The debian hardware auto detection correctly detects and configures the
pcnet32 card during install. However, it fails to get a DHCP response.

When I escape to a shell and configure IP etc. manually, the workstation
won't respond to pings, i.e. the card does not seem to work either.

Things work fine with a 2.4.15 kernel I found at:
	http://krichard.web.elte.hu/43p-140/
(web page shows all patches and the config file used to build the kernel)
