Bug#281912: udev: Fails to re-created FireWire CDROM device node after reconnecting

Hi!

My kernel is based on kernel-source-2.6.9 rev 2 with additional patches for
MPPE support, bootsplash and the current version of the orinoco wireless
driver. Except for the changes related to the patches above, my .config
matches the one shipped with kernel-image-2.6.9-1-686 rev 2.

I get this behavior with current kernel-image-2.6.9-1-686 and
kernel-image-2.6.8-1-686. kernel-image-2.6.7-1-686 works fine, as does my
build based on kernel-source-2.6.7 with MPPE and bootsplash patch.

Seems that the problem was introduced in 2.6.8, but I didn't notice earlier
because CD burning doesn't work with 2.6.8 anyway.

Thanks for looking into this. Please let me know if you need further
information.

Regards,
   Georg
