Bug#277081: kernel-image-2.6.x-n-x86 fails to compute correct CPU speed 4 out of 5 boots, and USB fails

Could you please see if this problem manifests on the 2.6.8 packages,
2.6.x (x <= 7) is about to be removed from sarge.
