kacpid uses all cpu time

Hi all,

we are running Debian Sarge on a DELL PowerEdge 2650 with linux kernel
2.6.8-1-686-smp. For any purpose kacpid takes over all cpu time of one cpu.

USER       PID %CPU %MEM   VSZ  RSS TTY      STAT START   TIME COMMAND
root        15 61.0  0.0     0    0 ?        S<   17:47  42:20 [kacpid]

There's nothing else running on that machina that might produce load.
What is going wrong? What do i have to configure to get rid of this? Is it a bug?

best regards, Tobias
