Bug#274951: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-k7: alsa emu10k1 ac3 passthru doesn't work anymore
Package: kernel-image-2.6.8-1-k7
Version: 2.6.8-3
Severity: important
Hi,
I didn't watch DVD for a while, and today I try to watch one. I've a SB
Live with digital output that was working fine (up to kernel 2.6.6 I think) with alsa, and it doesn't work anymore :( I didn't change my alsa conf nor xine conf. I get the following message : "ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1155:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D2p failed: Aucun périphérique de ce type"
Passthru doesn't work but digital din works well. I really don't
understand a thing, I've searched on google but found nothing :/ Since
alsa modules are shipped with the kernel I report this bug to you :)
I hope you could help me, thank you a lot.
