asus a7n8x motherboard with built in nforce2 NIC, and 2nd intel pro 100 S
pci nic.
I tried installing using expert26. Both cards fail to work. The install
freezes when either attempting to use DHCP for either card, or it freezes
after manually entering in some network settings. This was attempted using
the daily netinst build 20040927. Using either dhcp or the manually entered
network settings the install freezes. Keyboard no longer responds to
anything (including ctrl-alt-del and numlock light doesnt respond).
If i let it detect the network hardware but skip the network setup, the
install completes, although the system fails to boot saying it cant find
pivot_root and the /sbin/init: 426: cannot open dev/console
I dont know if thats related or a separate bug.
