Hi Lars, The workaround is to boot the old 2.6.7 kernel again, add the missing driver name to /etc/mkinitrd/modules and rebuild the initrd for kernel 2.6.8. You can verify the list of drivers loaded from the new initrd using something like # mount -o loop /boot/initrd.img-2.6.8.1 /mnt # cat /mnt/loadmodules # umount /mnt Good luck Harri
