Package: kernel Version: 2.6.x Severity: wishlist I like the new crypto support available in the 2.6 - kernels, but it is a problem for me that I cannot create LVM snapshots any more, as I used to be able to do with 2.4:
$ unset LANG; ssh root@localhost lvcreate -s -l 3 -n rootfreezelv /dev/vg/rootlv snapshot: Required device-mapper target(s) not detected in your kernel lvcreate: Create a logical volume [Generic lvcreate usage message omitted.] I would very much appreciate if such a kernel made it into Sarge.
