I'm using a Microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard and I'm encountering numerous spurious scan codes while using console sessions. The scan code messages don't seem to be popping up while using KDE. It's frustrating because if I want to edit something like /etc/groups using vi in a console, the scan code messages screw up the screen, besides being generally annoying.
