Version: 2.6.6-2
Severity: minor

Hi there,

Setting up kernel-image-2.6.6-2-k7 (2.6.6-2) ...
cpio: /etc/modprobe.conf: No such file or directory
cpio: /lib/modules/modprobe.conf: No such file or directory

Apparently the latest versions of module-init-tools no longer ship/use
this file.

Regards,
Anand

This bug is fixed already (and isn't even a kernel-image bug); see
#260695 for details.
