hi
the program "gphone" triggered a possible bug in the sound modules ;
I attach the kern.log ;
following that , I used gnomemeeting, but then I could not close it;
and then all programs that would use audio hanged ;
then I decided to reboot, and the kernel had another problem when
unmounting something , and hanged when it tried to turn off swap,
and I had to power-cycle it
I hope that this does not happen again :-(
