Bug#266269: (Un)reproducible

Tags: unreproducible
close 266269

Thanks!

So the story goes on:

1. After doing a successfull mkfs.ext3 under
   kernel-image-2.4.18-1-686-smp
the problem was not reproducible under any of the other kernels.
(not bf24, my kernel 2.4.27). This is strange because it oopsed
3 times before. (2 times with the 2.4.27 and then with 2.4.18bf)

2. A kernel with cparray and cciss is booting on a system
with a controller for the cparray driver.

3. On a system with a controller for the cciss the same kernel
   oopses on loading the cparray-driver.

So this bug is not a bad one since you can always disable the cparray
in the "bad situation". (I think it can be safely closed)

But if you want to look deeper into this problem I'm able to
do some tests on a SMART2(cparray) system.

Cheers
Helmut
