USB Problem in 2.6.8
Hi,
i'm using a sid and have noticed a strange problem with usb on
kernel-image-2.6.8-686 and kernel-image-2.6.8-686-smp on my computer.
It seems that only the devices that are plugged before the uhci_hcd module is
loaded are detected. These are working properly, but if I plug another device
after, it doesn't even appear in /proc/bus/usb/devices, and idem if i
unplug/replug one which was working properly.
Worse, if i try to unload uhci_hcd, the system is freezed, and need a hard
reboot.
I tried under 2.6.7, and have no problem.
I also tried to disable hyperthreading but the problem is still there.
So my motherboard is an Asus P4P800
Here's some pieces of a lspci :

I don't know what information could be useful, so if you need more, just ask
me, i'll be glad to help.
Thanks,
