Bug#250426: kernel-image-2.6.6-1-k7: caused several files corrupted, probably bug in ext3 code

They where done properly (Ctrl-Alt-Del).

I don't understand what you are trying to say. 
2.6 k7 kernel "doesn't work" (messed up the filesystem)

Sorry for leaving this for such a long time - I was busy with other 
stuff. Now I have another identical drive, so I can make a dd copy of 
it and test with one of them.
