Bug#268392: [kernel-source-2.6.8]: Kernel breaks CD burning software

Another stange thing:
Comparing the disk and the data on the HD with k3b shows differences.
"cmp"-ing the corresponding files in the filesystem
on the DVD and local drive don't show any changes.
