With kernel 2.4.23-1-686, my disk on my Promise IDE controler shows up
as hde and works fine.

With kernel 2.4.27-1-686, the disk is not detected.

I tried adding pdc202xx_new to /etc/modules and rebooting, but it
appears that the controler is probed added after the ide disk
detection is already complete.
