No DMA with kernel 2.4.27-1-686

Package: kernel-image-2.4.27-1-686
Version. 2.4.27-1-686

After updating the kernel to the newest version, two different machines wont run with DMA access.
The first system is an IBM R50 Notebook, the other system is an Gigabyte BX2000 Mainboard with a Intel BX Chipset.
With all the older Versions (<=2.4.26-4-686) it worked fine!

When I try to activate the DMA via hdparm:

pluto:~# hdparm -c1 -d1 /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 setting 32-bit IO_support flag to 1
 setting using_dma to 1 (on)
 HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
 IO_support   =  1 (32-bit)
 using_dma    =  0 (off)

The Kernel Messages with the older 2.4.26:

Any ideas what's wrong?

Thank you
