iasl is the Intel compiler/decompiler for ACPI, I suggest you point
to acpi-devel list (acpi.sf.net) in order to hack properly your DSDT
and other suggestions. I find acpi support quite weak in past and current
kernel sources. Unfortunately this is not only a debian-related problem.
Vendors add their own pitfalls to the issue. If loading fan and thermal
solves the issue, consider to add them to you initrd image by using
mkinitrd properly.
