Obviously, you didn't set up your system to generate an initrd (run
mkinitrd -o /initrd.img 2.6.7-powerpc) and use it for booting (put
initrd=/initrd.img into the appropriate section of /etc/yaboot.conf
and run ybin).  If you are in fact using an initrd already, please
accept my apologies and reopen this bug.
