Well, you are probably missing the initrd or something, you need to
change your yaboot.conf to include the initrd. initrd=/boot/initrd.img
should be enough i guess, but i am no yaboot user.

Jens. I do believe that we should take more active actions to ensure
that the user has a working system, or it will be a real mess.

Ah, could you reenable the voodoo fbdev also :
