Not really.  When a certain revision of a package is uploaded into
unstable, it leaves the maintainer's hands.  The passage from unstable
into testing is almost completely automatic, the passage from testing
into stable involves the large and complicated release process.

There is experimental for that kind of thing, and unofficial
repositories.
