Re: current firmware blacklist

I am not trying to debate the firmware subject but I would like a little information.  I know that there are issues with linking binary (non-free) with certain drivers.  What is the exact procedure that will be used with these drivers?  I have to use several drivers on this list.  Are they just going to be moved to non-free or are they being removed completely.  I have caught some of the debates but I never saw what the final solution was going to be in regard to what happens to the modules.  Will they still be available to me in Debian?  Please reply to me off list as I am not subscribed.  Thank you for your time.
