Package: initrd-tools
Version: 0.1.69
Severity: normal

When using LVM2 LV as root, vgchange executed in initrd does not
activate root LV.
I made initrd with busybox included and found that when I execute
commands from /script after entering busybox i does not get active
logical volume. But when I do
   mount -o bind /devfs /dev
and then execute commands from /script I get active volume.

It looks like vgchange does not follow symlinks in /dev.
