Yes, same problem here. plasmashell hangs just opening the main menu,
clicking on the taskbar or even only hovering the mouse over the taskbar.
I looked in logs and I could not find any related error message. The only
way to get the system back again is to run killall plasmashell && kstart
plasmashell.
The problem is so annoying and frequent I moved (temporarily?) to stable
just to get work done.
