and the issue seems to be fixed with kwallet-pam 5.12.1-3
Just installed that version and the problem indeed went away.
While the bug was reported with an OpenBox install, I noticed the issue today
as well on my KDE/Plasma session (before I installed -3).
The weirdest thing is that in the case of my Plasma5 install, kwallet was
working just fine, only Openbox had some issues with it. But I'm glad everything
backed to normal. :)
