Hi, we (Qt/KDE Debian Packaging Team) are already aware of this problem. Sorry for forgetting about sending an email about this. Creating the directory (/var/lib/mysql-files) isn't a solution for us, because this directory is handled by the mysql-server-5.X package ( akonadi using mysql-server-core-5.X). What we want to do is to alter the mysql.cnf in ~/.local/share/akonadi/ mysql.conf to add "secure_file_priv=" But it looks like this patch doesn't help everyone, that's why we didn't pushed a new version already. To keep informed about the current status see the bug reports: https://bugs.debian.org/843534 (and for the mysql side https://bugs.debian.org/843520) Best regards, sandro -- Am Donnerstag, 10.
