Re: Wife's sid box still wants to deinstall on dist-upgrade



So kde-full, kde-standard, and the kdebase-workspace/kde-plasma packages are not required for kde5, and won't uninstall necessary packages? I don't want to break her kde install.

A cursory glance at your list of files tells me that much of the stuff
being removed is unnecessary for KDE/Plasma5.

Digikam may not be (re-)installable after upgrade (I'm on testing, and
it's not available there at all), but Gimp will be.
