Well that "work-around" has unpleasant side effects: KMail asks for 
accepting SSL certificates on every attempt to receive or send mail. I know 
my self-signed SSL certs need updating, but usually it remembered to use 
it anyway. When I logout and login again, the wearther applet still has 
Nürnberg, Germany from wetter.com in its configuration, but it is not able 
to connect. Timeout.
