Do you have "Treat all cookies as session cookies" enabled in "Settings >
Configure Konqueror... > Cookies > Policy"? (This is just a wild guess,
I don't use Konqueror much for web browsing, therefore I don't know if
tabs are treated as separate sessions. That might be the case for
security reasons, for example to avoid cross-site-scripting.)
