RFC 2015 compliance in Kmail

Hi. Running KDE in Sid.

I realize this has been discussed before, but the answer in the list
archives is "get gpg-agent" etc. I did, and it still doesn't work.
Now S/MIME is showing up as available, but I don't care about S/MIME.

Inline PGP (GPG) works just fine, always has, both sending and
receiving. It's the OpenPGP/MIME, RFC2015 format that's messing up.

I have indeed selected Security>Crypto-backends for GpgME-OpenPGP, and
Kmail will encrypt in RFC2015 format just fine.

When I receive an RFC2015 email, including the test messages I send to
myself or try to view the sent message in my own outbox, the MIME
"part" window says the "part" labeled as "application/pgp-encrypted"
is un-decryptable. Well, duh, of course it's un-decryptable, the
actual decryptable message is in the MIME "part" labeled as
"application/octet-stream".

I must admit this seemed a really idiotic way to do it, I could not
disagree with RFC2015 more strongly. However, that's the standard no
matter how flawed, and Kmail just isn't recognizing it.

Any suggestions?

Curt-
