[please CC me on replies] Generally, Debian's KDE works out of the box with respect to antialiasing. However, every now and then we install a box and get jaggy fonts. I cannot find out where the problem is. All machines have fontconfig installed and bitmap fonts enabled, as well as autohinting and subpixel rendering on the ones with LCD displays. All machines have xfonts-konsole installed, and `fc-cache -f` was run after the installation of xfonts-konsole. All machines have X configured correctly. For instance, Firefox uses antialiasing properly. Fluxbox also works fine, so it's just KDE. Enabling Antialiasing in kcontrol/Appearance/Fonts does not make a difference.
