I think there is somewhere on the utility to convert .fon fonts
to bdf (bitmap fonts for X), but I guess that it is mostly waste
of time -- there are plenty of good fonts for X11 which can be
used instead of not so special fixedsys (which if I recall
correctly is just a bland sans-serif font -- misc(clean) should
serve you as well, if not better).
