The thing is that both of you have the "missing" font installed _and_ avaliable, so something must be fooling konsole (probably konsole itself). I guess I can't step any further. I'd just recommend you to try $ xterm -fn -misc-console-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-160-iso10646-1 to verify that the font loads and then, if you really want to use that font, choose it in Konsole -> Settings -> Font -> Custom.
