This is not special for Mandrake. It works that way in debian as well.
It creates a data cd with the file. If you wanted a vcd or svcd then you have
to take further steps. But making a svcd from a movie file is not a simple
thing either. There are file format conversion isues for instance. This is
correlated with quality isues. I don't think it can be as simple as a mouse
click.
