streams with noatun

I have the problem that stream from shoutcast lacks if i listen to them using
noatun.
My computer:
600-er
Kernel 2.4.20
kde 3.1.1
DSL
soundcard: C-Media Electronics Inc
The buffersice in kcontrol is set to max.
and the artswrapper has the permissions:
rwsr-sr-x 1 root audio
and I am in group audio.
what could be the problem?
