If only it came compiled with utmp support...

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=103864 is almost
two years old and the only followup it got was a spam message.

It looks like Ivan tried to package utempter (which is what konsole
uses for utmp support) but Wichert and Branden put the kibosh on it
(probably rightfully so):
