Heimdal

Hi!

I have built packages for Heimdal which also compile fine with the the
current OpenSSL in Sid. The main problem which caused all the trouble
is a source incompatible change in the DES routine API provided by
OpenSSL as libcrypt.

As Kerberos is a very complex package I have absolutely no idea
whether it works with my changes. There are several warnings about
incompatible pointer type that I haven't investigated further, so
it's easily possible that it compiles fine but doesn't work at all.

Anyway, it at least allows to install postgresql-dev to build Qt
again. You can find the packages at [1].

I wonder whether there is any work going on to integrate Heimdal 0.5.1
into Debian. The version 0.4 seems a bit outdates, but I definitely
lack the knowledge to really judge about this.

Greetings
  Schimmi
