Some time ago the docs at kde.org reported that to download correctly
the admin dirs using CVS one must first do a checkout, immediately followed
by a CVS update -- this is, I guess, because in the CVS tree at kde.org
the admin directories are actually symlinks.

I tried this out and it worked, anyway I switched to cvsup which is *a
lot faster* and less trickier to use... Using cvsup, the admin dirs
*do not get downloaded at all* (nor all CVS dirs, for that it matters).

Thus, one must copy the downloaded module to another dir, then copy
inside it the admin dir taken from the module kde-common with the
same CVS Tag, then make a source package out of it and compile it.

Just my 1c about CVS download, sorry I can't help about compiling
kdepim 3.1 since I didn't tried it out, just version stable 3.0.4.

Ciao,
Paolo
