I found the changelog entry mentioning the bugs:
- The `home' and `end' keys are now bound to beginning-of-line and
end-of-line, respectively, if the corresponding termcap capabilities
are present (closes: #89026, #89034, #98029, #107453, #107897, #116943,
#119491, #128687, #130029).
