for whatever reason the "download" URLs just don't work:

$ ping download.de.kde.org
ping: unknown host download.de.kde.org
$ ping download.ch.kde.org
ping: unknown host download.ch.kde.org

[uk] responds but won't let me connect - yesterday it did though.

While trying yesterday some mirrors didn't seem to have an identical
directory structure in place.

This makes apt-get update(-ing) a pain. There's something broken with
kde's mirrors.
